Vista what’s new, I mean, really? and more Microsoft NON SENSE!
OK I’ve been to the CES look at every possible new things and even the not so new, and I will rate Vista as a not so new. At first you are kinda bluff, I say kinda because it looks better than your XP version, but after sometimes you realize that the differences are only minors and just for your eyes with a tendency to be obsolete considering Apple did that million years ago!!!
I am not too sure about Vista especially for now, I think there will be numerous updates and pbs to fix before I would consider upgrading (in a year or so).
Also, as an example of “foutage de gueule”, I spend the weekend trying to be wirelessly connected with my Windows XP Pro laptop to a freshly installed wireless network at home and after literally 8 hours trying, checking every possible problem and even almost giving up thinking I must have a virus somewhere really bad, I found out that Windows XP Pro cannot connect to a wireless network protected with a WAP-2 key…..So you are telling me that the Pro version is less secure than the home…nice Microsoft especially when you know it was possible before service pack2 and they removed the feature with service pack2…so you have to download a patch (not at their website otherwise it crashes the system- thanks I have tested for you- and then you can be compatible, thanks Microsoft for preventing the Pro user to be safe surfing!
Conclusion: sometimes you just want to kill them…seriously.
